These tablets and memorial gates were unveiled on Anzac Day 1951. The left-hand plaque (1914 - 1918) was unveiled by Colonel T.L. Gibbs and the right-hand plaque (1939 - 1945) by Colonel T.T. Murray.

The old gates were replaced by new ones (with metal cutout featuring a soldier and children) made by Stratford blacksmith, Joe Parkes, about 2014.
