The Red Cross building was located at 134 Devon Street West, next door to the Regent Buildings. The site was purchased in 1944 but the building wasn't officially opened by Mr E Gibbard until 31 August 1963. It was built by Roebuck Construction Ltd. at a cost of £22,000.

It was demolished, along with the Regent Buildings, in April 2013 to clear the site for the Len Lye Centre.
