This Anglican church in Lepperton opened on 10 May 1900 with a dedication service on 18 January 1901.

The church was designed by the architect Frank Messenger and built by Mr Mannix. Church records have been located showing a £5.00 payment to "Mr Messenger". Tenders for the construction of a church in Lepperton closed on 11 October 1899 - the tenders to be submitted to Frank Messenger.
