A picturesque scene of Waitara during the 1920s graces this classic Taranaki souvenir teapot. Decorated with an identical picture on both sides, admirers of this practical yet picturesque item can admire the Waitara River and town bridge in the fore ground and McLean Street in the middle ground with Mount Taranaki clearly visible as well. The teapot was part of a set made in England by Hollinshead and Kirkham Ltd, who produced a range of souvenir ceramics, including some featuring Pukekura Park and the New Plymouth Breakwater.
