This building at 164 Devon Street West was one of the buildings demolished in April 2016 to make way for a new two-storey building called Dawson House.
It was most recently occupied by the company 'Weathermaster'.
The original date of construction is unknown. On 28 October 1930 a building permit was issued to the firm Bruce & Feakins (coachbuilders) to "reinstate a building after a fire" on this site. The work was done by Jones & Sandford for a contract price of £200.
Bruce & Feakins continued to trade from here until the 1940s when they sold the business to Andrew Smith.
