On 3 January 1963, a permit was issued by the City Council for the re-siting of a dwelling at 309 South Road (now St Aubyn Street). The house was shifted to the rear of the section to make way for a block of shops to be erected for Mr G.W. Moral.

In May 1963 a permit was granted to G.W. (Gullab Wallab) Moral for 3 shops and a flat on (Part) Section 20 of Deeds Plan 42. The contractor was Hoyle & Sons with the estimated cost was £7,897. The 1964 yellow pages advertise the business at this location as "West End Fruiterers".
