This building was built in 1945 for the motor mechanic and panel beater, Stanley Elliott. A permit was issued for the workshop on 22 June 1945. It was built by Neville Roebuck for an estimated cost of £2,250.00. 

The land was originally part of Alexander Shuttleworth's estate and Lots 4-7 were auctioned off in 1944. Legal description of this site: Lot 6 of DP4784

Work commenced in September 1945, and was completed by December.

The building, along with the furniture factory next door, was demolished in March 2014.
