A permit was granted by the Borough Council to Mrs Norris on 14 December 1927 for the construction of a house on Part Town Section 1637, Gover Street – G. M. Bennett was the builder, and the estimated construction cost was £1000. Wises Street Directories list Stephen A. Norris as the occupier of the property.
