A permit was granted by the Borough Council to Leo Bridgeman on 13 January 1928 for the construction of a house on Lot 27, Ballance Street - Thomson and Morris were the builders, and the estimated construction cost was £333.
An earlier permit was granted by the Borough Council to F. Tombleson on 6 September 1927 for the construction of house on Lot 1 of Section 27, Ballance Street - Thomson and Morris were the builders, and the estimated construction cost was £825. It is unclear if this home was constructed.
