In May 1906, plans for a "cottage in wood" for Mrs R. Deare on Town Section 214 were deposited with the Borough Council - estimated cost £425.
Whilst the building currently looks nothing like its original form, much of the original structure still survives underneath the exterior cladding and front extensions.
