A permit was granted by the Borough Council to Gilmour and Clarke on 7 September 1920 for the construction of a house on Town Section 82, St Aubyn Street - Gilmour and Clarke were the builders, and the estimated construction cost for both homes was £800.
An earlier permit was granted by the Borough Council to (no name entered - probably 'Rundle' who owned property at time) on 8 March 1919 for the construction of two houses on Town Section 82, St Aubyn Street - Gilmour and Clarke were the builders, and the estimated construction cost for both homes was £1200 - however, only one of these houses (112 St Aubyn Street) was constructed at that time.
This home was subsequently purchased by Leonard W. Veale in May 1921.
