A permit for a residence on Town Section 1980, Molesworth Street, was granted by the Borough Council in September 1912. The owner of the property was R. Pepperell, and the estimated cost was £295.
Pepperell purchased the section in October 1909, and retained ownership until 1925, when it was sold to M. H. Barnett - the section was subdivided soon after it was sold.
