A permit was granted by the Borough Council to Thomas Eddleston on 17 April 1930 for the construction of a house on Lot 5 of 4, Belt Road – F. and A. Read were the builders, and the estimated construction cost was £850.
The home was advertised for sale for removal during early 2018, but it seems a buyer could not be found, and the property was demolished later in the year; two modern townhouses have now been constructed on the section.
