A permit was granted by the Borough Council to S. M. Hauge on 11 June 1926 for the construction of house on Lot 2 of Part Town Sections 43 & 44, Hine Street - B. A. (Bernard Augustine) Fama of Hāwera was the builder, and the estimated construction cost was £1200.
This house was demolished or removed from the site sometime after 2021.
